FMG CEO rises up the Print Week Power 100
29 July 2010
Print Week have just announced their Power 100, which is their celebration of the great and the good of the print industry. Over 1,200 votes were cast by Print Week readers who chose to move FMG's CEO, Simon Berg further up the list.
Many voters left comments about why they voted for Simon, which were summarised by the judges as:
"Berg wanted to turn Fresh Media Group into an agency, and last autumn’s rebranding to FMG signalled the chief executive’s success in moving it beyond its repro roots. Video, web, catalogue, photography, retouch services and interactive magazine businesses have all grown under Berg’s tenure. Its page-turning technology, deployed via a partnership with St Ives’ book division Clays to create e-books for publishers, is on track to produce 2,000 titles by the end of the year. That said, the £12m-turnover company still retains a core of magazine repro customers."
