1000th eBook milestone approaches
03 June 2010
This month we will convert our 1000th eBook! 6 months after launching our eBook conversion service, we’re quickly approaching a significant milestone which makes us one of the UK’s largest providers of this service.
Working with major book publishers including Random House, Orion, Bloomsbury and others, we’ve reached this milestone at break neck speed. There are more to come, with three more UK based publishers planning to take advantage of our conversion services in the coming months. We forecast we’ll convert our 2,000th eBook before the end of the year.
Our excitement is proving well founded - eBooks are growing in popularity. Amazon sells six Kindle eBooks for every ten printed books when both are available on their site. We anticipate readership of eBooks growing exponentially, particularly after the launch of the iPad. The iPad runs the ePub standard, meaning you can already read the 1,000 eBooks created by FMG on this device!
