Remploy Furniture makes educational furniture for schools, colleges, universities and academies. FMG have been working with Remploy Furniture since 2008 and in that time, we’ve worked together on direct mail, catalogue, video and digital projects.
The most important project in the calendar is the Furniture for Education Catalogue project. This year, Remploy challenged FMG to co-ordinate the entire project management of the catalogue. This wide brief covered working with the many different stakeholders within Remploy Furniture to managing the entire process from commercial planning to the printers. It was a challenge we relished.
Our response involved implanting a member of our senior team in Remploy’s offices to work with all the individual teams and establish a robust workflow for all aspects of the project. These processes covered briefing and sign off, helping co-ordinate all creative and production managed by FMG. And in this project, this included photography, artworking, retouching, prepress and print management.
The outcome is a great looking catalogue and a robust workflow to make future catalogue projects as efficient as possible.
